The tambourine is a hugely flexible and interesting percussion instrument. This class will explore a little of its history, but most class time will be spent on playing technique and discovering the myriad of sounds available. Bring a tambourine with drumhead if possible. Rings of jingles without a drumhead will not be useful. Some loaner instruments of dubious quality will be available.
